Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 24, 2026  |  Last Updated: October 28, 2026

This page is for people in Washington, Nevada, Connecticut and anywhere else with a consumer health data law. It sits beside our Privacy Policy, which has the full detail.

What we collect and why

Body and training reads you make (how areas feel, soreness, sleep you report, how you feel); health values you allow from Apple Health (such as sleep, heart rate variability, resting heart rate, steps, workouts, and, if you turn it on, period and cycle symptom records); your cycle if you track it (period days, flow, symptoms, and our estimates of phase and next period); pain reports; and, if you send them to your club, how hard each club session was, its minutes and load, and your usual rating marked as an estimate when you do not answer. We use them to give you your readiness read and your history, and, only if you choose, to share with a club or practitioner you link.

Where it comes from

From you, from Apple Health with your permission, and from a club you link (for example the training load it records).

What we share, and with whom

Only with a club or practitioner you link, and only what you choose; your cycle and your session ratings each need their own separate yes. Service providers who run Sensus for us under contract: Google (Firebase, servers in Australia, and Vertex AI in the United States for AI features you turn on; your cycle is never sent to AI). We never sell consumer health data and never use it for advertising.

Your rights

You can see what we hold and who received it, withdraw consent to collecting or sharing, and delete your data, in the App (More) or by emailing contact@joinsensus.com. We answer within 45 days and tell every club and service provider who received it to delete it too. If we refuse, you can appeal by replying to our answer.

Location

We never geofence or use your location for health data.
